Description: 500 mg cold-pressed seed oils of evening primrose (Oenothera biennis) with min. 9% gamma-linolenic acid and 10 mg vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol).
Oil derived from evening primrose contains 72% linoleic and 9% gamma-linolenic acid and so is one of the richest sources of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), essential fatty acids esencijelne for many biochemical processes in the body. Gamma-linolenic acid serves as a source of prostaglandin E1. Numerous studies have shown that PMS is caused by insufficient production of prostaglandin E1 in the body. Gamma-linolenic acid from the products compensated for the deficiency and eliminate PMS symptoms such as headache, irritability, breast tenderness and swelling, and symptoms of menopause. Maintains hormonal balance in women, improves peripheral circulation, beneficial effect on hair, skin and nails. Prostaglandin E1, in addition, lowers blood pressure, reduces the chance of blood clots, stimulates immune function and regulate brain function.
