Description: Branislav Nusic (1864-1938) was a Serbian writer, comedian, journalist and diplomat, the founder of rhetoric in Serbia. He wrote novels, plays, stories and essays, using, in addition to his name, and alias Ben Akiba. Born in Belgrade, grew up in Smederevo. He graduated from law school 1885th in the same year he fought in the Serbo-Bulgarian war. After the war he published a controversial song "Two of the slave" in Dnevni List, for which he was sentenced to two years imprisonment. The song is fun of Serbian kingdom, and particularly King Milan.
