Serbian Slava Linen
Description: Linen made out of traditional domestic wool materials, popularily called Serbian Linen. Two laces are sawn at the edges of this linen, and one in the middle. In the lower part of the linen, close to the central linen, the sign “Srecna Slava!” (Happy Slava) is sawn, usually with some standard slava motifs, such as cross, wine cup, grape. This linen is used at the day of slava to carry the slava cake to the church for the ritual.

Serbian Slava Seals
Description: Slava cake Seal – is an supplementary utility in a Serbian household. It is used to imprint the initials of Jesus Christ the “Victor” to the slava cake. It is usually made out of yew tree. In this cross-shaped seal, in the upper two cells are the ancient Cyrillic initials IC and XC (which means Jesus Christ), and the lower two cells read N I K A (meaning “the Victor” or “wins”). On the other, round side of the seal three cells of the same content are imprinted, also decorated with various ornaments. This seal is also used in some church rituals.
