Description: Prljavi inspektor Blaža i Kljunovi , or The Dirty Inspector Blazha and Honchos, were founded on January 13th of 1994. In the beginning they usually performed at Belgrade’s clubs KST and Prostor, as well as in Zrenjanin, in the club Zeleno zvono. Their first recording “Igra rokenrol SR Jugoslavija” came out in April 14th of the same year, with their live covers of Azra, Zabranjeno pusenje, Riblja corba, as well as Fiskulturno lane, Blaza’s former band.
In the coming years, they released albums “Plagijati i obrade” in 1996, and “Seks droga i Bodiroga” in 1998, “Shipu ga Zobla” in 2000, and “Pare ne vracamo” in 2002. Their humorous lyrics, often dedicated to celebrities (Pamela Anderson, Dusan Savic, Dejan Bodiroga, Anna Kournikova, etc) and covers of legendary ex Yu and world rock hits, earned them a cult status in the regional media scene. They sold-out the SKC several times, and they still perform “everywhere where there are minimal conditions for a concert”.
