Description: "Irish Stew of Sindidun" is a band from Belgrade, Serbia which performs Irish music. They were founded in 2002, and had their first public performance in June 2003 at "Celtic Night" radio show. Just before that show, the band got its name.
Started as an Irish traditional music cover band, they soon evolved and began writing their own songs. Music they now play can be described as a mixture of punk-rock and various other genres, mused by Irish music motives.
In October 2005 they published their first album, "So many words...", released by "One Records". The album was followed by a tour in the region...

their style is irish folk-ish, and they keep true to the sound. some of the songs are funny, some touching, some even a bit angry, but all have a wonderful energy that is skillfully brought out by the musicians. this is a talented band, and i cannot wait to see more work by them. (though i do wish they'd do a song or two in their first language, i bet it would be beautiful.)
