Divlje Jagode (trans. "Wild Strawberries") is a Bosnian and former Yugoslav hard rock and heavy metal band. The band is considered one of the top acts of the former Yugoslav hard rock and heavy metal scene. Divlje Jagode were formed in 1977 in Bihać by guitarist Sead "Zele" Lipovača (a former Biseri, Selekcija and Zenit member). In 1978 they relased their debut self-titled album Divlje Jagode. Album featured a number of Deep Purple and Black Sabbath inspired songs, and ballad "Krivo je more" among others. In 1986 they started recording an English language album with new bass guitarist Zlatan Čehić. During the war Lipovača lived in London and Zagreb. After releasing his solo album Magic Love Lipovača reunited Divlje Jagode. At the end of 1990s Lipovača, Budimlić and Thomas Balaz and vocalist Pero Galić recorded Divlje Jagode latest album Od neba do neba ("From Sky to Sky") which was released in 2003.

I absolutely adore the music in this set. I am new to Bosnian music scene and a friend recommended this group. He did not disappoint me nor did any of the cd's in this set! The Wild Strawberries rock! It is very renminiscent of the 80's metal that I loved listening to here in America. It's food for the soul! I'm hooked on their music like good Bosnian coffee;)
