Description: Soundtrack for the first Serbian video game “Genesis Rising”. The soundrack has been recorded for over a year, in a unique and a technologically very demanding way. This soundtrack features many instrumentalists and singers that are among the most talented in Serbia.
Lana Mirkovic from the Balkanika group, and Tomislav Vitaz, the baritone of the Belgrade opera are just a few. The standards put on by the foreign publisher demanded the best equipment, which is why the final mix was done in the studio of Goran Bregovic, and the mastering in the Skala studio in Zemun. The critics say that the soundtrack is one of the best elements of the game itself, and one of the best in its genre.
Author of the soundtrack is Zoran Randjelovic, composer of applied music, and a long time associate of Goran Bregovic. For the last six years, he has been his assistant in many music projects, primarily in orchestrating Bregovic’s movie soundtracks. One of the recent big products of this cooperation is the movie “Lièvre de Vatanen”, starring Christopher Lambert, and the work on the ballet “Queen Margot”. He also appears as author of music for several experimental and documentary films. He also composed music for commercials, presentations, and several conventions.
