Description: Alkohol contains two albums - Sljivovica (Slivovitz) and Sampanjac (Champagne)

The first part of the album, Slivovitz, which contains 13 songs was recorded last year in Gucha, Belgrade and Skopje, and the second one, Champagne, from the concerts in Milan and Toronto, will be in stores in March 2009.

Both albums were recorded live, Bregovic said, and added that in the part called Sljivovica are songs recorded at the Guca Brass Band Festival - cheerful melodies for hard alcohol. Alcohol agreed with me at that stage in Guca. I watched that footage. I was a little drunk. Then I came to an idea to record an album called Alcohol, Bregovic said.

According to Bregovic, some musicians are trying to copy European elements, but if we want to be honest, we have to say that in our music it is important that we can drink while we listen to it. That’s our tradition, he concluded.
