Description: Iz predgovora: Kao sto je Ivkovu slavu stampao prvi put u Nedicevom Srpskom pregledu 1895, tako je Stevan Sremac i svoju Zonu Zamfirovu prvi put objavio u Srpskom knjizevnom glasniku 1903. Godine. Ona je tu izlazila u nastavcima, od VIII do X knjige. Potom, kasnije, on je nju preradio i dopunio, kao sto je to ucinio i sa drugim svojim pripovetkama. Dopune su narocito zahvatile poglavlja: prvo, cetvrto, sesto, osmo i dvanaesto. Ova nova i poslednja verzija, spremana za izdanja Srpske knjizevne zadruge, stampana je tek posle Sremceve smrti, u kolu za 1907. godinu. Osnovu dogadjaja koji je u Zoni Zamfirovoj isprican Sremac je dobio od Branislava Nusica.
